This Saturday, October 12th at The Chieftain in Worth - 6908 W. 111th Street - "Kickin' it with Karen Fundraiser"
For this extraordinary event, which has been promoted on US 99 Radio, the parking lot will be covered with a tent as well as access inside The Chieftain, so please come and show your support rain or shine!
On September 20, 2012, Karen Marrello, with husband Rory at her side, was handed a startling diagnosis of esthesioneuroblastoma (ENB). ENB is a rare form of cancer that, while aggressive, can be slow spreading and tends to pass through the central nervous system.
As a community of friends and family, our mission is to surround the Marrello family on the road to Karen's full recovery. We also hope to raise funds in order to help minimize a piece of the financial burden that has befallen them and their six children.
A donation of $10 will be welcomed upon entry. Event starts at 6pm.
Entertainment for the evening provided by Jenny Rockis and Paula Marr performing an acoustic duo at 7pm, and The PriSSillas, an all girl pop rock cover band featuring Jenny, Paula, Angie, and Michelle starting at 9pm!
